I took TKD's way of gaining power in the structure and beginning of a strong kick and combined it with Bruce Lee's Jun Fan JKD with his quick "No Chamber" foot snap/directness of movement. Then I found from other style of mine like Wing Chun and Bagua that twist and counter spiraling helps to maintain balance of the centerline and develops a clashing effect for a more powerful result.
